Religion is chaotic, political, and often full of secrets people would rather not talk about. That’s why I started Tanner on Religion — a place where I pull apart the Bible, the Quran, and centuries of theology to show what’s really inside.

I write in plain English, no academic fog. If a text contradicts itself, I say it. If a “holy truth” was actually borrowed from pagan myths, I show it. If a doctrine was cooked up centuries later for politics, I expose it. If I make a mistake, I admit it. What I don’t do is bash religions or their followers just for the sake of it.
